Day 1

- Airport/hotel pick-up in Kendari

- Transfer to Tanasa harbor (30 minutes from downtown)

- Kendari to Labengki by a rented motorboat (approximately 2 hours)

- Arrived in Labengki, Check in to your chosen accommodation (Labengki Beach Huts or Homestay)

- Visit the Blue Lagoon (Laguna Mahumalalang), enjoy this natural wonders

- Relax on Pantai Pasir Panjang (Long beach). Swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the beautiful scenery

Day 2

- Embark on a day trip to Sombori Island by boat

- Visit the stunning lagoons and caves, such as Goa Allo, Goa Berlian, and a Prehistoric painting cave

- Hike to Puncak Kayangan viewpoint for panoramic views

Things to note

- A 3-day trip to Labengki and Sombori Islands will give you a taste of the highlights, while a 5-day trip allows for a more in-depth exploration and relaxation

- Best Time to Visit: The dry season, February to May, and September to October, is generally the best time to visit. Expect rain and rougher seas during the other months. However, it's important to remember that weather patterns can be unpredictable, and even during the dry season, you might experience some rain.

However, Labengki and sombori island can be visited year-round.

- Unfortunately, there are no regular public boats that go directly to Labengki Island from Kendari. it needs to charter a boat for the islands hopping trip, most boats depart in the morning, usually between 8 AM and 10 AM. This allows you to arrive on Labengki with plenty of time to explore during the day. It's also generally when the sea is calmer, making for a more comfortable journey

How to get there

Labengki and Sombori are two stunning island groups in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. While they are close to each other, getting to them requires a bit of planning due to their remote location. Here's a breakdown of how to reach these paradises:

1. Fly to Kendari (KDI)

Your journey begins by flying to Kendari, the capital city of Southeast Sulawesi.
Several airlines offer flights to Kendari from major cities in Indonesia like Jakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar.
Important Note: Even if a flight is advertised as direct, it might have a layover in Makassar (also known as Ujung Pandang). Be sure to check the details when booking.

2. Travel to the Harbor

From Kendari Airport, you'll need to take a taxi or arrange for a driver to take you to the harbor. The drive usually takes around 45 minutes.

3. Boat to Labengki

At the harbor, you'll embark on a boat journey to Labengki Island. This ride typically takes about 2 hours by traditional wooden boat
